Integra Design was delighted to be a part of Tourism Barrie’s recent re-branding. We took into consideration that social media is a large part of their reach to new and returning visitors. With the development of their new look, we also came up with a matching social media logo.

In tourism and destination marketing, branding is not just about logos, it involves a full-view approach of strategy, developing and nurturing a unique selling proposition for the destination according to key elements in the area.

Thought needs to be given to the destinations culture, heritage, values and the tourism operator products that are available near by.

Once established, the destination brand is the foundation of all marketing activities designed to promote the destination and attract new visitors; content and messaging should always be aligned with this in mind. The destination brand is absolutely pivotal to what is communicated to visitors.
